With SpiderOak you can encrypt your documents and protect them with a password. Not even the provider will be able to access their contents. Files are encrypted on your computer and can be unencrypted only when you provide the password. You get 2 GB of storage for free.
HOW TO INSTALL
1. Download the installer from https://spideroak.com/opendownload.
2 Open the downloaded file to start installation.
3. After installation you will be prompted to create a user account by providing your data and a password. Store this password securely as you won’t be able to retrieve or recreate it if you lose it although you will are able to set a password hint. This is to ensure that only you and no one else can access your documents in an unencrypted, readable form.
4. Choose a computer name.

5. After clicking “Next” you can choose which folders and files to back up to the cloud with your SpiderOak account.
6. On the “Manage” tab you can download the files saved to the cloud with “Download”. You also have the possibility to check previous versions with “Changelog”.
